Torre de Collserola

This telecommunications tower is located on the Tibidado hill in la Sierra de Collserola. Designed by Norman Foster, is visible from every part of Barcelona. The needle-like upper structure rests on a concrete pillar and is anchored by 12 huge steel calbes. Antoni Tapies, Picasso tribute

Picasso tribute in the street of the same name, in front of the Parc de la Ciutadella. Masterpiece by Antoni Tapies in 1981, precursor of informalism and one of the most recognized Spanish artist in a worldwide.

Tribute to Picasso, is a sculpture made by Antoni Tapies in Barcelona between 1981-1983, the work of art was commisioned for the city council of Barcelona to commemorate the centenary of Picasso’s birth.

There are a huge glass cube where the water flow in all sides and you can see blurred, furniture like a mirror, a sofa and a cupboard, chairs piled up with rope and sheets.

This creation with many differents materials are typical for the artist called informalism, Tapies want to bring art and daily life closer together.
